Hi, I loved this podcast! May I ask what the call schedule is like that you’ve set up with your teams? I’m moving towards this model and doing a bit of research. Thank You.

Hi Carrie! First off thank you for listening!
In the agency, we have teams, two doulas per team. Within the teams, we serve as each other’s backups. So we attend all the appointments together, and then between the two of us, we decide who goes to a birth. That way the clients get to know us both which helps them feel comfortable with whoever attends the birth.
I’d love to hear more about how doulas work in Australia! Would it be okay to DM you?

      Have a lovely day!
